Three core obligations apply to data processing:
- Data processing agreement (Art. 28): Processing on behalf is only permitted on the basis of a written contract governing subject matter, duration and binding instructions.
- Record of processing activities (Art. 30): Controllers and processors maintain a record of all processing activities.
- Technical & organisational measures (Art. 32): An appropriate level of protection, including through encryption and pseudonymisation.

Most "European" AI platforms forward your requests to OpenAI, Anthropic or Google and wrap them in an EU shell. SovrGPT runs open models itself — on our own GPUs in European data centres. If you need large US models, you can add them — as an option, not as the foundation.

GovBridge — AI directly on your case-management system
GovBridge connects SovrGPT to your document management via open eGovernment standards. Caseworkers research files, summarise cases and submit OZG applications — in plain-text chat, without official data leaving the EU or a proprietary connector having to be built.
Search files live
Caseworkers ask for a file in plain text — GovBridge searches, reads and (with approval) writes directly in the DMS. CMIS 1.1 standard, no proprietary connector.
Your DMS, connected
VIS-Suite, nscale, Fabasoft, Alfresco, OpenText and other CMIS-capable systems. Real-time access, no caching of case content.
Submit OZG applications
Via FIT-Connect (Submission API v2), the same model submits finished applications end-to-end encrypted at the delivery point.
Least privilege & audit
Only curated tools, no raw SQL passthrough. Write actions can be disabled per endpoint and require confirmation. Metadata-only logging — never content or credentials.
